Vamao Inventory OS helps Shopify merchants continue Stocky's daily buying workflow without ERP weight: reorder decisions, supplier purchase orders, receiving, cycle counts, and a customer-visible audit trail. It is built for merchants moving away from Shopify Stocky or rebuilding a purchasing workflow without jumping directly into a heavyweight ERP.

Pre-sunset Stocky export support is available where Shopify still exposes the data. After the Stocky sunset, continuity comes from Shopify Admin API sync, CSV fallback, and Inventory OS workspace data owned inside VamaoLabs.

The product starts with a fixed-scope migration audit. Buyers can maintain supplier contact email, supplier SKU, unit cost, MOQ, pack size, lead time, and internal notes before creating purchase orders.

What monitoring adds after the audit

Monitoring turns the audit into an ongoing Shopify inventory command center. The dashboard tracks stockout risk, overstock risk, incoming supplier units, open alerts, Shopify sync health, weekly report state, and purchase-order receiving. Forecasts use available stock, incoming POs, reorder points, daily velocity, lead time, safety stock, supplier MOQ, and pack size to answer the practical question: what should I buy, how much should I buy, and how urgent is it?

Purchase orders are no longer only CSV exports. Monitoring workspaces can create draft POs from recommendations, receive partial shipments, record rejected or damaged units, update Inventory OS inventory snapshots, and keep open PO quantities from causing duplicate reorders. Shopify inventory writeback is permission-gated and only runs after the customer approves the required inventory scope.

Growth Monitoring is for operators managing more inventory complexity. Checkout charges the same $49 onboarding audit today, then $49/month after 30 days. It supports up to 3 shops, 10,000 SKUs, richer supplier and PO monitoring, weekly reports, scoped API access, API Swagger docs, and critical SMS alerts after explicit opt-in.

Customer dashboard included

Every buyer receives a VamaoLabs-hosted Inventory OS workspace at /stocky. Customers can use Overview, Guide, Inventory, Cycle Counts, Imports, Products, Suppliers, Reorder, Purchase Orders, Planning, Liquidation, Alerts, Settings, API, Swagger, Support, and Team without using the normal VamaoLabs dashboard shell.

Manual operations and audit log

Inventory OS is not limited to CSV imports. Monitoring customers can record stocktakes, available corrections, unavailable holds, unavailable releases, location transfers, partial purchase-order receiving, rejected quantities, pause-buying controls, weekly reports, notification preferences, team access, and workspace-scoped API keys. Each mutation writes a customer-visible audit event with actor, role, source, request id, timestamp, and before/after state.

Security and workspace isolation

Every operational record is scoped to an Inventory OS workspace. Customer API tokens are tied to the customer workspace and cannot operate on another customer’s imports, SKUs, suppliers, purchase orders, alerts, reports, movements, liquidation plans, or audit events. CSV uploads are stored privately and checked for binary content, row limits, column limits, oversized cells, and spreadsheet formula injection.

Who should use it

Use Vamao Inventory OS if you are still using Shopify Stocky, recently lost confidence in inventory data, are planning a WMS or ERP migration, or need a practical bridge that keeps reordering and supplier purchasing visible while you decide what comes next. It is intentionally lighter than an ERP and more operational than a generic spreadsheet template.
