Vamao Inventory OS
Shopify inventory operating system for migration audits, forecasting, alerts, suppliers, reorder points, purchase orders, receiving, and low-stock risk.
Vamao Inventory OS helps Shopify merchants continue Stocky's daily buying workflow without ERP weight: reorder decisions, supplier purchase orders, receiving, cycle counts, and a customer-visible audit trail. It is built for merchants moving away from Shopify Stocky or rebuilding a purchasing workflow without jumping directly into a heavyweight ERP.
Pre-sunset Stocky export support is available where Shopify still exposes the data. After the Stocky sunset, continuity comes from Shopify Admin API sync, CSV fallback, and Inventory OS workspace data owned inside VamaoLabs.
The product starts with a fixed-scope migration audit. You upload Shopify exports or legacy Stocky CSV exports, the system normalizes your catalog, and the dashboard shows which items are ready, which suppliers are missing, where reorder rules are weak, what inventory is already on the way, and what needs to be fixed before you trust a new WMS, ERP, spreadsheet process, or custom Shopify workflow.
What the Inventory Migration Audit checks
- SKU coverage: missing SKUs, duplicate SKUs, unmapped variants, and products that cannot be matched cleanly across exports.
- Supplier coverage: vendors without supplier records, missing supplier item costs, and products that cannot be grouped into clean supplier purchase orders.
- Reorder readiness: missing reorder points, low on-hand inventory, weak reorder quantities, and SKUs likely to stock out during migration.
- Purchase-order continuity: supplier-level PO recommendations, exportable PO lines, and risk flags for vendor mismatches.
- Migration action plan: a readable report that separates urgent fixes from cleanup items so the merchant knows what to do next.
What daily buying workflows it covers
- Reorder decisions: what to buy, how much to buy, when to order, and why the recommendation is safe.
- Partial receiving: receive accepted quantities, rejected quantities, and backordered lines without losing the open PO state.
- Cycle counts: use camera scanning, USB/Bluetooth scanner input, or manual SKU fallback before approved differences touch the Inventory OS ledger.
- Supplier-ready POs: export PDF/CSV purchase orders and track supplier confirmation links.
- Weekly digest: summarize the reorder decisions, open alerts, PO exposure, and migration readiness signals that matter this week.
- Audit log: see who changed inventory, POs, sync settings, team access, API keys, and alerts.
Supplier reconstruction
Stocky migrations often expose missing supplier data. Inventory OS helps reconstruct supplier rules from Shopify vendors, legacy PO history, vendor CSV/manual supplier records, and missing supplier reports. Buyers can maintain supplier contact email, supplier SKU, unit cost, MOQ, pack size, lead time, and internal notes before creating purchase orders.
What monitoring adds after the audit
Monitoring turns the audit into an ongoing Shopify inventory command center. The dashboard tracks stockout risk, overstock risk, incoming supplier units, open alerts, Shopify sync health, weekly report state, and purchase-order receiving. Forecasts use available stock, incoming POs, reorder points, daily velocity, lead time, safety stock, supplier MOQ, and pack size to answer the practical question: what should I buy, how much should I buy, and how urgent is it?
Purchase orders are no longer only CSV exports. Monitoring workspaces can create draft POs from recommendations, receive partial shipments, record rejected or damaged units, update Inventory OS inventory snapshots, and keep open PO quantities from causing duplicate reorders. Shopify inventory writeback is permission-gated and only runs after the customer approves the required inventory scope.
How the plans work
Migration Audit is a one-time $49 audit for merchants who need a readiness report before changing systems. It includes limited imports, one full audit, a 14-day workspace, and exportable findings.
Starter Monitoring is for one Shopify store after the initial audit. Checkout charges a $49 onboarding audit today, then the subscription starts at $19/month after 30 days. It adds ongoing imports, Shopify sync, forecast refreshes, alert center, weekly low-stock reports, API access, and purchase-order receiving for up to 1,500 SKUs.
Growth Monitoring is for operators managing more inventory complexity. Checkout charges the same $49 onboarding audit today, then $49/month after 30 days. It supports up to 3 shops, 10,000 SKUs, richer supplier and PO monitoring, weekly reports, scoped API access, API Swagger docs, and critical SMS alerts after explicit opt-in.
Customer dashboard included
Every buyer receives a VamaoLabs-hosted Inventory OS workspace at /stocky. Customers can use Overview, Guide, Inventory, Cycle Counts, Imports, Products, Suppliers, Reorder, Purchase Orders, Planning, Liquidation, Alerts, Settings, API, Swagger, Support, and Team without using the normal VamaoLabs dashboard shell.
Manual operations and audit log
Inventory OS is not limited to CSV imports. Monitoring customers can record stocktakes, available corrections, unavailable holds, unavailable releases, location transfers, partial purchase-order receiving, rejected quantities, pause-buying controls, weekly reports, notification preferences, team access, and workspace-scoped API keys. Each mutation writes a customer-visible audit event with actor, role, source, request id, timestamp, and before/after state.
Security and workspace isolation
Every operational record is scoped to an Inventory OS workspace. Customer API tokens are tied to the customer workspace and cannot operate on another customer’s imports, SKUs, suppliers, purchase orders, alerts, reports, movements, liquidation plans, or audit events. CSV uploads are stored privately and checked for binary content, row limits, column limits, oversized cells, and spreadsheet formula injection.
Who should use it
Use Vamao Inventory OS if you are still using Shopify Stocky, recently lost confidence in inventory data, are planning a WMS or ERP migration, or need a practical bridge that keeps reordering and supplier purchasing visible while you decide what comes next. It is intentionally lighter than an ERP and more operational than a generic spreadsheet template.
Inventory OS is not a full ERP/WMS. It does not replace accounting sync, EDI/3PL, carrier labels, bin-level warehouse mapping, pick/pack/ship, or manufacturing BOM workflows.
Inventory OS positioning
Continue Stocky's daily buying workflow without ERP weight.
Vamao Inventory OS focuses on the operational work small Shopify teams need after Stocky: reorder decisions, supplier purchase orders, receiving, cycle counts, alerts, and an audit trail. It is not sold as a full ERP, accounting system, WMS, 3PL platform, carrier label system, or manufacturing suite.
Pre-sunset Stocky export support is available where Shopify still exposes the data. After the Stocky sunset, continuity comes from Shopify Admin API sync, CSV fallback, and Inventory OS's own workspace data.
What Vamao Inventory OS Covers
Supplier Reconstruction
Stocky supplier data can be incomplete or hard to export cleanly. Vamao treats supplier cleanup as a first-class migration task, not an afterthought.
- • Reconstruct suppliers from Shopify vendors, legacy PO history, and imported supplier spreadsheets.
- • Add or correct vendor CSV/manual supplier records when Stocky exports are missing fields.
- • Generate missing supplier reports for SKUs without contact, cost, MOQ, pack size, or lead time.
- • Maintain a supplier contact, unit cost, supplier SKU, MOQ, pack size, and lead-time checklist.
Clear Boundaries
Choose a heavier tool if your first-release requirement is accounting sync, EDI/3PL, carrier labels, bin-level warehouse maps, pick/pack/ship, manufacturing BOM, or deep multi-channel planning.
Choose Vamao when the urgent problem is Shopify/Stocky buying continuity: what to order, what to pause, which supplier PO to send, and what changed in the audit trail.
Plan Details
Choose a one-time audit when you only need migration clarity, or choose monitoring when you want VamaoLabs to keep watching supplier and reorder risk after onboarding.
